I seem to be having an issue scraping artist information. I'm using XBMC 11.0 and I've downloaded and selected the Universal Artist Scraper in my system settings. However, when I try to scrape my collection, it sees all the artists, but breezes right past them and collects no data. So, I've found the only way to accomplish this is to browse by music by artist, select 'change scraper' (the scrapers I've downloaded are listed, but none have blue text indicating they are selected), select Universal Artist Scraper, and then I can scrape the artist info - for that one artist. I have to repeat these steps for each, individual artist. What could I possibly be missing that might cause this?
Thanks for your help

Make sure the option "Download additional information during updates" is checked in System--> Music--> Library, and the context menu while viewing your Music library to select "query info for all artists".

That setting is checked in System,Music,Library. It seems like the scraper isn't set for any of the artists until I implicitly set it, then select "Query info for all artists" and it will find all the correct info for that one, individual artist, but skip the rest until I "rinse and repeat".

In the Settings--> Music--> Library - do you have the default selections pointing to the Universal Scrapers?

Yes, both album and artist scrapers are set to the Universal Scrapers.

Having the exact same issue here. And I'm looking for an answer as well. This is annoying as hell.

So far, the only way around this that I've found is to set the scraper for each individual artist. Very tedious. Is there some SQLite script I could use on the MyMusic database that might set the scraper for all of my artists?

As an addendum, I looked into the MyMusic database and found I have a total of 331 artists, but only have a content table with 56 rows. Just the artists that I manually added through XBMC. Can I add the rest somehow or is there a way to delete the current info and have XBMC sort of do a "reset", so it can populate this list automatically?
