Thanks, temps so far when playing 720P are ~50C.

I should really get a wireless keyboard with integrated mouse - do you know something good?

I managed to get my wr7 remote control to act as mce remote control, but I'm having problems to configure it for specific XBMC keys.

Have you heard about xbmc launcher?

I use this one, and my whole family loves it!
IOGEAR Multimedia Keyboard with Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel, 2.4GHz Wireless GKM561R (Black)

The scroll wheel allows you to fast forward or backward through a movie. Very Cool!

Thanks, I will read some reviews.

I noticed that XBMC does not handle full screen quite well.
I have 42" TV and I set resolution to 1280x720 and did video calibrate but still no full screen.

Did I miss something?

Yes, there were black bars at the left side.
Now everything works flawlessly.

Now my big concern is ventilation.
My HTPC and audio receiver are stored in a closed drawers which have a slide door, I'm looking for some solution that could open the door when the HTPC is being used.

some mechanical unit to open the door.

will have to investigate for such solution.

Some sort of USB fan? so when the HTPC starts the fan will start. If you can cut the back of your furniture and attach some fans...

I was thinking on the option to enlarge the ventilation hole I've got at the back and that would be enough.

but still would like to consider the option for door opening.

I noticed high memory load and wonder if this normal:

512 MB are dedicated to APU which leaves ~3.5GB for OS and programs.

I have sickbeard CP and sabnzbd running.
I configured win7 to best performance,

If i sum up all memory usage of all processes I dont come near to actual memory load.

any ideas whats eating my HTPC memory?
