movie plays like in fast forward ??
#1
I recently ripped "The Dark Knight" from my blu-ray disc.
When I try to play it back on XBMC it is going way to fast like it's in
fast forward or something.
I used makemkv as the ripping tool, the same as the rest of my library and this is the first
time that I have had this problem, everything else plays fine.
Could it be a bad rip ?
Is there a setting that needs to be changed somewhere ?

So I tried again tonight and the movie "The Dark Knight" ripped from blu-ray
plays for about 10 seconds normally and then speeds up by itself.
Even if I go to somewhere in the middle of the movie and stop and start again
it plays normally for 10 seconds then speeds up.
Every other title in my library plays perfectly...

What could it be ??

So I re-ripped the movie and changed the container from an M2ts to a .mkv
What would the difference be?

I do have another M2ts title and it plays fine

Could be just a fluke. Couple of bytes lost in the wrong place.

Thanks for the replies, I re-ripped to a .mkv and it works perfectly now.
I don't know what the problem could have been.
