When running XBMC on my main PC I can always just alt-tab over to an open web browser and look at IMDB, but my HTPCs hooked up in my living room and bedroom are much simpler devices. I really like looking up actors or directors to see what else they have been in or directed. IMDB scrapers work pretty good, but I was hoping someone might know of an addon or be willing to make one that would allow me to browse IMDB info from XBMC.

Have you ever used the "Metadata Actors" database add-on from the passion repo? It adds that kind of look-up functionality to the infoscreens on actors and directors (maybe writers too, haven't tried).

Wow. Thanks for the add-on suggestion. This is absolutely amazing. Has nearly everything I could want. This is a definite must to integrate into future versions of XBMC,
