Linux Start Live TV on startup
#1
Hi everybody,

I'm using Linux 12.04, XBMC Eden, TVheadend 3.0 and so far everything works fine. As I usually start XBMC to watch TV I would like to have XBMC doing so as soon as it starts up. I configured the "TV" option in "Startup window" but this doesn't work as XBMC is still importing EPG and Channel data and refuses to start "Live TV".

Is there a possibility to start a small script/program that either waits for XBMC to finish the import and then start "live TV" (in fullscreen) or just wait for 10sec and then tries starting the TV?

I was trying to do a search but key words are misleading here so forgive me if this was already answered somewhere else.

Thx
Klaus

nope, not implemented at this time. you can create a bugreport for this on trac though, since it's a bug that this doesn't work.

xbmc-pvr [Eden-PVR builds] [now included in mainline XBMC, so no more source link here :)]

Found a problem with PVR? Report it on Trac, under "PVR - core components". Please attach the full debug log.
