AFAICT, the only difference between the D1 and D2 ($10 more) is the D1 is 7mm tall and the D2 9.5mm tall, making the D1 the better choice for a mini-itx case where height is a concern.

Cool deal... I got a 128GB for almost the same price a while back....also 7mm in thickness.... now they are sold out...
