Hi Guys,

Need your help...

I have installed ALArab on XBMC (windows) and it's working fine, HOWEVER, it's NOT working on my ATV2!!!
I have read the FAQ & Installation section at: https://github.com/hadynz/repository.ara...deo.glarab and I have changed the proxy config on my atv2 to the IP of the PC on which I've installed the proxy software (192.168.1.3), and the PC is ON (but I'm not running xbmc on it) and still nothing!!! when I click on nay channel it ether does nothing or it says working at the bottom right of the screen while revolving, and comes back with nothing or it comes back with the typical playback failed msg!!!

Please help....

UPDATE: Don't know exactly what did it, but its; working now. I've opened port 4500, maybe that was it!!!

New Question: Is there a way around keeping the PC that runs the proxy sw open

Are you able to explain how you came up with with port 4500? How did you guess that port... I don't think it is related to the GLArab proxy ay.

Again, I'm not 100% sure that's what did it, but I've tried everything and have looked everywhere for a solution, then found this, which mentioned port 4500. http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-glwiz-addo...etail?id=1. The post is related to GLWIZ, and I think it is responded to by "baba", who I believe wrote the code for both GLWIZ & GLARAB. BTW, is there a workaround for having the PC running the proxy sw, always ON? Thanks -P
