I don't want to wait any longer for a jailbroken ATV3. I have a bunch of ATV1's sitting around. I am reading about Broadcom Crystal HD.

Is this a compatible card for the ATV1?

For $25 USD, it might be worth the extra shipping cost to canada.

However, if that doesn't work out, yes that card will work in the ATV1. That same newegg.ca product has been tried before and confirmed to be the same BCM970015 Broadcom Crystal HD (wiki) hardware.
