Massive CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity problem with newer Nvidia drivers (ION2)
#1
Hello,

I have a HTPC (Nvidia ION2) which runs Archlinux (always updated). A few weeks ago when 304.17 came out I ran into big problems with XBMC - all video files shows extreme stutter and lag. The debug log (attached here: http://pastebin.com/QWBYGPNK) shows a lot of "DEBUG: CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity" which I believe is the problem.

I have identified that the problem only occurs with Nvidia driver version 304.17 and above, and only when activating "Sync playback to display". If I deactivate it everything plays fine (and the discontinuity in the log is gone).

Had anyone else experienced similar problems with later Nvidia drivers?

Just installed Archlinux from scratch with the latest packages, and the problem is still there! Hasn't anyone else had any problems with this?
