AMD E-450 Dual-Core Processor
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit)
4GB DDR3-1333 SDRAM
1TB 5,400RPM Hard Drive
DVDRW Drive
Multi-in-1 Media Card Reader
AMD Radeon HD6320
10/100/1000 Network

I want to be able to do 3d playback and run windows 7 media center. Let me know if either one will give me fluid hd and true dts sound and 3d capable.
I am on a strict budget and these are both referb with license for under $250 and I can't afford to spend any more than that right now. I would also like to try xbmc on it

I will also be ok with buying a $50 - $75 video card down the road if it will make it all work fine.

Thanks for your help

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

Are you going to run XBMC on that system too or just Media Center?

If you want to also run Netflix HD on it, the i3-2100 system is the best choice. Windows will also run better on the i3-2100. You also won't need a video card -- the built-in HD2000 GPU is very good for media playback.

I would like the option of doing both. I want to be able to run 3d blu ray and good audio like dts and truehd. I will be streaming all my media over a gigiabit lan from a synology nas. And I will be playing the blue ray's from iso rips or mkv's

I have an original windows media center silver remote. And plans down the road include a cable card for time warner.
is that hd 2000 a dedicated gpu?

The HD2000 is the integrated GPU in the i3-2100. It's proven to be very good for media playback and supports 3D.

For $250 is excellent deal....you need to get it quick before it is gone.....you should be able to playback bluray in 1080P video and bitstreaming HD audio too...

>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

I am going tonight, I thought it was a great deal, the case, license and hard drive would of cost that much. I think I will get me a 60gb ssd for it as well and do something else with the 1tb
