Some Channels Stop Working After a Min or 2!!!
#1
Hello Guys,

I have got an ATV2 and I'm enjoying very much so far...but it looks like some channels (TF1, France2 (fr2), France 3 (fr3)) stop working after 1 or 2 min of continuous play XBMC. EDEN 11.0. This is consistent of these channels no matter what video add-on I find them under and play them!!! I'm thinking it's something in the stream that checks something and stops the streaming process!!!

Can some coding Guru , please take a look at this and let me know what they think it's going on?

Here is the xbmc log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=9317

Thank You Very Much!

Code:
RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header

The site is crap. Maybe try a nightly build or the next alpha6 build (which should be there on start of oct.). Current builds might improve things - or might not.

Thanks for the tip Bro! but I'm a bit confused by your comment "the site is crap", if it is, then how would nightly builds of xbmc or even alpha6 help? I'm just trying to understand...will there be improvements in the handshake and streaming protocols or..what exactly would make it better if the flaw is with the site itself! Thank You!

New librtmp in the nightlies which might handle these sort of streams better.

Thanks Ned! I've searched for the word "alpha 6" on the page you've provided and could not find any reference to it! How do I know the nightly build I'm downloading and installing is indeed Alpha 6? I've done a Google search for "Alpha 6 download" and found several sites claiming that they have it, but I'm not sure if they're trusted sites or not! So I was hopping to download it from XBMC, but I can't seem to find any reference to Alpha 6!!! Thanks!
