Fanless video card

So I made the mistake of buying a B75 chipset board for my i3 with no HDMI. (DERP). Instead of buying a diff board, I figure I'll just get a dedicated card. What would be a good choice? Something fanless and comparable to hd4000 or better would be ideal.

Why not just return the board and get another one? That would probably cost less than getting a video card and the iGPU would certainly use less power than a discrete card.

+1 for a new mobo with HDMI.....better airflow and less heat without a discrete GPU in it too.....I hate to see a very good HD4000 iGPU go to waste too......

I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Exactly what I was thinking too. You went the extra mile and got the i3+HD4000 and now you're not even going to use it? That just seems wrong to me.

If you want a fanless video card then your best options are probably a Nvidia GT520 or an ATI HD6450.

620, 630, 6550, 5550, 520, 530 Are all better then the HD4000. But the HD4000 beats the 5450 and 6450 from what I read. So your might want to return your board

Honestly I am using this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814121422

My case has bad airflow and it still runs cool. Runs every 1080p file I throw at it with 5.1 dts no problems.
