Android G-Box vs ???
#1
The G-Box Dyno (and G-Box Midnight) comes with XBMC pre-installed, and it works with hardware decoding. From what I've read, the Pivos XIOS DS is the only other device that works with hardware decoding (both devices run the XIOS XBMC build), but the G-Box devices have better specs.

It seems to me that for smooth 1080p, G-Box and Pivos XIOS are the best right now (because of the hardware decoding), is this right or are there any that I missed?

Are there any other devices that would be more worth getting than one of these?

I saw both of those, but it seems like the G-Box might have better tech support from the manufacturer, and it comes with a decent looking remote (I didn't see that in either the Smart TV Box or ODROID-X). It also seems like the G-Box does XBMC hardware decoding out of the box and the Smart TV Box will need a compatible port to be installed; and ODROID-X is in the same boat as all other devices and needs a later version of XBMC for hardware decoding.

It didn't look like ODROID-X even has a chassis, just a bare board. Both of those are questionable to me when it comes to smooth 1080p today, but it's clear that ODROID-X would be the hardware spec winner so far if XBMC supported hardware decoding on it. It looks like Smart TV and G-Box have the same hardware specs (but no remote with Smart TV).

[EDIT] I just saw that the Smart TV does come with the same looking remote. So compared to the G-Box, the only negatives are that it's out of stock, and doesn't come pre-loaded with hardware decode supported XBMC.
