*BUMP* - still interested if an update by adding the 3.2 ppa will have success .. still using 2.99. from opdenkamps/pulseight repo ..

great to know !

.. I'm currently using a special (not the pure lonelycoder) tvheadend version delivered with pulseeight's XBMC PVR packages (http://packages.pulse-eight.net/)..

Are there plans to join the projects ?

Would it at least work to add your PPA and simply upgrade to your version of tvheadend ? Will I loose my settings if I do so ?

@LastCoder - to the very best of my knowledge, the two repositories are kept pretty much in sync (with maybe only a short delay before Dushmaniac builds the binaries and publishes them to the pulse-eight repository). I've gone back and forth between them for various reasons with no problem. I used pulse-eight for a long time, then pulled a build from lonelycoder, then had an update from pulse-eight, and so on - based simply on version/build numbers.

And, if you're worried - well, you can always back up all your settings before installation.

thanks for your reply ! Yeah, backing up is always a good idea Wink, but since the system is in daily use in the living room I have to guarantee 100% availability to keep the WAF high Rofl .. so switching from 2.99.Huh to 3.2. should go without hassles .. I'll give it a try .. hope that the "don't speak about that here !"-stuff with crypted services will work too as ever ..

I'm currently trying to setup a Synology with TVH (installed version 3.2~git20121012-1 directly from Synology DSM) to be able to fully use the new PVR features in XBMC. My issue is that TVH doesn't recognize my adapter - the list og adapters is empty in the TVH configuration/TV Adapters. But if I telnet my Synology, it seems like it has no problems seeing it:

dmesg | grep -i dvb
