Files (not movies) from C: are loaded and can't be deleted
#1
Hello all,

My XBMC loades a lot off files from my C: en D: wich are not movies or shows. These paths are not entered in my video files.

If I want to delete a file XBMC loads but the files stay.

I tried searching for the files, moving them and cleaning the library. If I move them back (have to, windows files enz) they appear again with an update or new clean library. I excluded all the paths from update but one external folder.

Can anybody help because my library is a mess this way. Thanks!

(I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit and stable XBMC 11 Eden)

Have you made sure that you didn't accidentally add your system drives as library sources at any point during your configuration? Please check the Sources listed when you access Video->Files (depending on your skin)

Taalas,

It could be that when adding the paths for the first time I also added '\'. But I cleared the false paths and cleaned the library. The files just stay in the library and can't be removed (pressing del or right mouse click).

Thanks for your help!
