Could this feature also be included for TV Show sub menus too?

Eg: When opening TV Shows in list format the first item selected is the first item in the list, rather than the up a level button

or

When opening a TV Show the first item selected is the first season, rather than the up a level button

Hope this makes sense, wasn't sure of all the correct terminoligy Wink

no, we won´t include that. just deactivate the "up-a-level" entries in xbmc settings.

I feel a complete idiot now, in all the time I've been using XBMC I never realised that setting existed!

Have found it now, thanks for the pointer Smile

no problem.
perhaps you also missed that the *All Items* entries can also be hidden by adding an entry to advancedsettings.xml.
