[Kodi 16 Jarvis] Timer submenu shows disabled timers which is not desirable
#1
This is new behavior in Kodi 16 Jarvis (observed in the OS X version) - in previous versions it only showed the enabled timers, however in the new version it shows both enabled and disabled timers (indicated as such in the status column). This is a problem because I have about 500 disabled timers that are only enabled for one week once a year for a special purpose but otherwise stay disabled. But since they are displayed and there's no way to keep them from being shown, I have to scroll through hours of disabled timers to try to find the enabled ones. Could we please have an option to get the old behavior back, so that it will show only the enabled timers and show them in chronological order? Or to sort by status and chronological order, so all the enabled timers sort to the top of the list and the next timer to be used is displayed at the very top of the list? It would be very much appreciated. I did look in the TV settings, but did not see an option anywhere to display enabled timers only.

By the way, I honestly don't know if this is something specific to the TVHeadEnd addon or is an issue with all PVR addons or with Kodi itself, but I figured I would post this here first since I only use TVHeadEnd as a backend. If this thread would be more appropriate in another section please let me know and I will move it or if you are a moderator, please feel free to move it to the most appropriate section.

EDIT: I created a ticket on this: http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/16430

I thought the same on my brief playing - see here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=246980

There seems to be a debate that I was pointed to, but I haven't had the head room to really follow it up.
