xbmc build download for Raspberry pi - where????
#1
Can someone please point me to the current build of xbmc for the Raspbery pi? I looked in the downloads area here but there is nothing *specific* to
the pi listed there and I am NOT finding it on the site or anywhere I can see here.

Thank you in advance!

what distro are you using?

if it's raspbian, there are no official xbmc builds available.
there are a few third party builds available, like: http://selfprogramming.bplaced.net/

you may be better off installing a 'dedicated' (optimized for xbmc) distro though.
there's a number of options:
- OpenELEC (nightly builds)
- Raspbmc
- XBian

I'm using the latest Raspbian Wheezy build for the pi. This is the one that includes overclocking in raspi-config from late Sept of this year. I'm already grokking that
there is no "official" xbmc build directly for the pi although I am seeing that one can start with the Pisces image and update that.

Thank you for the response. I will take a look at the links you provided.
