I am running XBMC in a Windows virtual machine just to update the library when SickBeard downloads a new TV episode. The virtual machine uses less resources when XBMC is minimzed to the tray as opposed to being open on the screen. Is there a command line switch or option I can add to cause XBMC to minimize to the tray automatically on startup?

Not sure how you activate XBMC, but within the XBMC icon, under properties windows allows for a start minimized.

Thanks a lot. I start XBMC via a shortcut in the startup folder. You suggestion works great.
