When I play some videos, the video quality is really poor. The motion is jerky and the picture is splotchy/posterized with heavy dithering. This seems to happen on most of my TV shows, but not on movies. But here's the weird part... If I play those same files outside of xbmc (i.e. in vlc), they look fine. Here's another clue that may help- if I hit backspace (which brings up the hazy white overlay (Aeon Nox) with the transport controls at the top, etc.), The video in the background clears up. (At least the jerkiness goes away - hard to tell about the rest with the overlay.)

I've tried a variety of video settings. Nothing seems to fix it. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
