I'm thinking about getting a system to run xbmcubuntu but I'm having trouble deciding on what to buy. I am trying to figure out if building a htpc from scratch would be cheaper than buying a nettop so I'm trying to figure out what I need to buy. Would it be necessary to have a dedicated video card to run high-bitrate 1080p videos? Or will a fast processor with integrated video be sufficient?
