Hi,

I would like to be able to use XBMC (geeXboX) without the main screen turned on for simple tasks, like listen CD/mp3/web radio...

The idea is to add a little LCD display, and control XBMC with a dedicated keyboard I'm working on.

I started to read related documentations, but I would appreciate any feedback for such config (pros/cons, problems, solutions...).

Use an android phone or tablet to browse your media collection and control xbmc remotely.

Sorry, this is not an option for me; there are already too much devices arround And I don't own any of these devices.

More, this will require another system to maintain, configure, charge batteries...

The alternative I'm thinking about is to have a second display connected to the other video card output. But I'm not sure if it is possible to manage different resolutions (HD or HD-ready for the projector, and something like 800x600 for the aux. screen) ?

I really want something easy to use, for every one.
