I am in the process of considering moving from MediaPortal for all my front ends to XBMC. In terms of flexibility and speed XBMC certainly seems to be leagues ahead of MediaPortal, so at the moment I'm quite excited with what XBMC has presented so far.

One key thing that I haven't worked out yet (and I fear may not be possible) is upon launching XBMC having it go straight to full screen live TV. In MP this was possible, but for the life of me I can't work it out in XBMC. From a WAF this is massive and could be a show stopper (as simple as it sounds).

Anyone able to assist with this?

it works, look at the options / live tv. i think "start at last watched channel" (or something like that) you have to turn this on. after restart xbmc tarts at fullscreen + live tv.
