i have a couple of strange problems i hoping someone can help with.
ok i have tried both XBMCUburtu & openelec but both have different problems
graphics card: ATI HD 5450
connection: HDMI
openelec cant get 1080P as a resolution but everything plays back perfectly. Highest resolution it allows is 1440x1200 which leaves a large black bar on one side of TV.
XMBCuburtu: can get 1080P resolution and everything plays back apart from every so often during video playback it like a ripple effect going from top to bottom of the screen (video doesnt need to be be HD even happens on low resolution videos)
anyone got any ideas on how to fix either one of these working perfectly (all work as should under windows but i want the superfast, less chance of kids breaking startups of the linux varients)
