Hi everyone,
I've had this problem for some time now, across ubuntu 12.04 64bit and 12.10 64bit, eden and pre-frodo with software decoding and VAAPI, on local SSD, SMB and NFS. When there are scene changes in cartoons the video will start crawling and the audio will mute, followed by the audio returning and the video eventually catching up, in between them everything plays fine. This doesn't seem to affect non-cartoons for some reason. Here is a link to a short video displaying the problem (sorry the audio is very quiet): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEnL78ldUxI
My hardware is: i3-2120T, 8GB ram
Has anyone else experienced this?
