I am using xbmc with window's 7 and I'm trying to stream my movies etc upstairs to the ps3
The ps3 sees the xbmc but no files...

Can anyone help and keep the kids at bay

Currently XBMC does not do transcoding for other devices. If you need transcoding, you will need a dedicated UPnP server until XBMC adds this feature.

OK many thanks I had wmc supplying the ps3 before so Iwill just set that up again for the streaming side and use xbmc down stairs
