Hi, in my HTPC i'm using:

AMD A8-3870K
GIGABYTE A75N-USB3
RADEON HD 6670
LIAN LI PC-Q11

I have problems finding a cpu cooler, right now i'm using a stock phenom II heatsink but is extremely loud, I tried going fanless but it gets too hot when I'm playing.

Someone recommended me the NEXUS LOW-7000 R2 because is only 70mm tall with the fan included (80mm is the height limit inside the pc-q11). It does fit but it blocks the pci-e slot and a memory slot.

I was checking the prolimatech samuel 17 because the FAQ at prolimatech's website claims that it works with this gigabyte board and is just 45mm tall but... I can't find it anywhere online.

So if someone please can recommend me a cooler, I'll be very grateful!.

These two CPU coolers might be your best choice- "Scythe SCBSK-2100 BIG Shuriken 2 Rev. B or COOLER MASTER GeminII"....

You could have bought a low power, quieter and cooler Intel i3-3225 CPU instead.......

Thank you!!, I'll check them out. I went with this build because I already had the 6670 and found the A8 new at $50 in ebay.

You could have bought a low power, quieter and cooler Intel i3-3225 CPU instead.......

The coolers are not for 100W cpu's ....

Both CPU coolers are for 100W CPU.....Cooler Master is being sold with A8-3870K as a package deal.....and the 2100 is designed to handle 100W+....

the Scythe SCBSK-2100 has a TDP of 130W.
