I'm looking to get a Cyclone Nano and perhaps run openelec on it.

I may build other boxes for other rooms in the house with iOS or Wndows.

I know android is quite a recent addition to the XBMC family so does this mean that some older addons wont be available. Are all addons available in all operating systems (ie Windows, Luinux. iOS, Android, etc) or are there some operating systems which have more addons available? Like iOS for example?

I think all the content add-ons (videos, music, pictures, etc) in the XBMC add-on repo are for all platforms. The only add-ons that I've seen that are platform specific are some of the specialty program add-ons that interface with certain hardware, or are like music visualizer add-ons (of which there are no 3rd party ones, currently).
