For music, I actually prefer the extended info widget to any background slideshows, but I can't figure out how to stop it from disappearing after a few seconds. From the settings panel under the OSD (M-enu), I can select "Always show album info", and that keeps the the stuff on the lower part of the screen from disappearing... but the widget still goes away.

Anyway to keep that up permanently? I have all visualizations disabled btw (none in xbmc global settings, and default in aeon nox settings)

on my widget the left side of the panel contains a thumbnail for fanart... upon starting a track it will flash the art for a quick blip and then turn black.... any suggestions?

Sorry to bump this thread but I recently updated to Frodo (from Eden) and the exact same thing ncnoman mentions happens to me. Just a half a second the artist info picture shows up in the Info Widget, after it disapears to stay black.

In Eden it showed different pictures of the artist and it was realy cool! I miss it

Same problem here (I can see the image for a split second then disappear). The solution linked just above doesn't work here.

edit - Eneko, you added the multiimage control or just the call to the script with deamon=True? Thanks!
