TV plugins: Are we going about this the wrong way??

you make it sound so easy.....

The only thing I like better about boxee is how they handle plugins and how they work and look, I have no idea if a similar approach could be taken for xbmc or not, even for things like youtube was nice to use on the box, Im not sure if they use their own browser to pull data from various sites or not but it looks like it eventually pulls info from sites in some sort of browser. I am guessing the xbmc devs would have a better idea of how boxee works.

Hello all; I would like to thank everyone for their hard work!
I am not a programmer... I would like to ask if possibly Bstrdsmkr could get some help or something; like what he is doing with "waldo"??
I like what boxee does in combining sources or channels and think this would be ideal for xbmc!!!!! I know this is something I am seeking.
+ Option to add plugins based on desired content, then it be combined into multiple navigation gateways. Such as through the guide, home screen "new episodes" / "new movies", through the library, etc.

I have noticed other similar attempts..... but finding "how to's" and following them can be like reading Greek (several that I have found haven't indicated that they actually apply to current versions like Eden, and/ or seem to be incomplete missing key steps).
A concise "how to guide" including "step by step video tutorials" I believe are ESSENTIAL in bringing our community together; not only in speeding up the process of setup, but also on improvement and further advancing how kick ass XBMC really is!!!!!

If some or all of this material IS available please let me know. I would be more than happy to repost in other venues like facbook, or xbmchub etc. In an effort to let others like me know
