Settings menu disappears after Aeon MQ4
#1
I hope this isn't a noob question (I have tried search, but I can't find related problems)

When I install Aeon MQ4 (from the GUI, install from zipfile), I lose several important menu items. The settings menu is gone so I can't make any changes anymore. Also, the system / shutdown option is gone, so the only way to close the application is through task manager

I tried to install MQ4 via the gui, from the repository. It downloads it, but does nothing afterwards. (same for MQ3)

Am I missing something here? I tried removing / reinstalling XBMC but no luck.

I'm using a Windows 7 x64 system.

Those menu items are kind of hidden. I don't have a system with MQ 4 so i can check, but if i remember correctly you have to press the down key twice to access them.

push "S" on your keyboard

Yep, that works, thanks!

Not sure why an important feature like that should be hidden under the S key. But maybe I should have RTFM. (Assuming it's in there, but I couldn't find it)

Press the down button, there's a LOT of stuff there.

I noticed the same! Indeed, when pressing s or down twice a sub setting menu appears, but not the main setting from the menu bar (as is shown in the demo with first launch)
