Since more and more people are moaning about Frodo not working with the current remote, here's a status update.
I've been working on a codegen for JSON-RPC for a few weeks. Progress can be followed here. Once that starts working I'll integrate it into the current remote and ditch HTTPAPI completely.
Once that works and is tested with Frodo, I'll continue working on v2, for which Jezz_X already provided some nice mockups.
