Linux tvheadend "no hardware present"
#1
hi,
i have a problem. everytime i start up my tv box and switch to a channel with my xbmc live tv i get this error message in xbmc "no hardware present".
when i restart the tvheadend service it suddenly starts to work for some weird reason.

can someone maybe give me a hint how to solve this or in which log files to look?

i am using a sundtek skytv dvb-s2 usb adapter

just restart tvheadend when the device initialization is done

echo "device_attach=/etc/init.d/tvheadend restart" > /etc/sundtek.conf

and restart. The problem is usually that xbmc/tvheadend start before the devices are fully initialized, however the driver offers the restarting feature once a device is available.
