[Mac OS X]: Frodo Beta-1 crashing when playing a DVD

Frodo Beta-1 is crashing on me, while I am playing a DVD.

PogoPlug v4 running Arm Linux 4.4.63 as MySQL (mariadb) server.
Mac OS 10.12.5
2015 27" iMac 3.3 GHz Quad, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD
2015 13" Macbook Pro, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD
AppleTV 4 TV OS 10

Looks like it's the dreaded AFP client crashing. Best you can do about it is to use another network protocol. A replacement AFP client for XBMC will come someday, but not for Frodo.

Ned,

Has the AFP client been updated in Frodo? The reason I ask is because in some other threads you have mentioned the use of AFP (most recently in a Apple TV 2 thread for instance). Or is it the case that the AFP client only on the Mac has the issue?

AFP client for all XBMC platforms. It wasn't updated for Frodo, but I hear it might be ready for v13 Gotham.
