most of the time i get returned to the tv channels page.

this is what i get upon pressing stop on the remote most of the time.

i am running mythtv 0.26 (upgraded from 0.25) and xbmc 12 beta1
i am running latest pvr addon from git

my os is xubuntu 12.04.1

this appeared after upgrading to mythtv 0.26

i am going to downgrade for the timebeing and see if issue goes away.

I downgraded to 0.25 -
I uninstalled 0.26
Re-installed 0.25 and restored from db backup.

So now when I press Stop I get taken back to the listings page as expected.
However now when I press exit to return to the previous listings page, I actually get taken to a page listing my external hdd. It's a step in the right direction anyway.

This is a bug in xbmc itself. A PR workaround for this issue is available here: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/1702. Hopefully this gets merged into xbmc soon.

can i cherry pick just that patch on top of beta1 tag and build on Linux. i built eden on linux before with cherry picks for mythbox

yes that's what I also do currently. Works fine on frodo beta 1.

If you install the tool 'hub' (http://defunkt.io/hub/) you can simply run 'hub am https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/1702' to cherry pick from the github url.

patch works great on mythtv 0.25.
i will re upgrade to 0.26 and try that too
