It would be nice to have the ability to add android apps as shortcuts on the home screen for android set top boxes. Utilize XBMC as a media center with full capability to launch android apps and upon closing those apps return to the XBMC home screen. Would make the XBMC android build a bit more wife friendly.

go into programs, add select program to favorites, add to start menu.

thats what we would like to be able to do but any app added as a favorite doesn't work when clicked on from the favorites list.

is there somewhere this should be formally requested? so that the android developers can maybe fix this bug at some point?

IIRC, they have Android apps as shortcuts working now.
