Hi,

It seems that some iPhone/iPad apps use encrypted airplay streams which only work on an AppleTV. Is there a way to enable these streams or mimic an Apple TV somehow in the device ID.

I am not talking about purchased or rented movies from iTunes, just apps that allow airplay video out.

I am using a Raspberry Pi and as an example, 2 Australian TV catchup sites have different results. SBS on demand seems to stream fine to XBMC whereas ABC iView will not work. I have been advised that ABC uses an excrypted stream.

any ideas?

not possible because we can't decrypt that fairplay drm'ed stuff.
