Ok I tested with the latest nightly and seems to be having issues. Here is what I did

Start XBMC
look for tv shows -> Schedule in Aeon Nox (worked)
looked some of the enabled plugins
Looked up Icefilms addon
Ran my pictures database
Ran ESPN addon
after 10 min looked for TV shows -> Schedule (xbmc crashed)

Log attachéd loglevel set to 1 in advancedsettings.xml (There was no crash log)

Latest nightly, latest Aeon Nox git, win7 64 bit.

PS. I do not have this issue on my 7 year old PC with win8 64 bit.

[UPDATE] Since my 7 year old Win8 PC works fine I looked at that PC and made changes to the main win 7 PC as follows

1) keep only addons that are on win 8 PC in addon folder
2) Keep only folders that are associated with addon folder in addon_data folder
3) delete addons database folder
4) uninstall xbmc totally
5) reinstall the latest nightly

Everything seems to be working fine for the last 10 hours and no crashes. I am thinking one of the addons that was there previously was causing it. I do not know which one is the culprit but I plan to add one addon at a time and see if crashes happen again.

xbmc crashes on exit after installing aeon nox 4.0 today from github with latest xbmc nightly. same probleme with nightly from 27.12. there was a fix for the "crash on exit problem" (with rc2) that helps only with confluence standart skin. after installing aeon nox i get a crash on exit with both skins. maybe it has something to do with the service.skin.widget.

Please read. That has been fixed and now we are asking about the screensaver
One thing at a time else it'll become confusing

If you are still experiencing crashes after installing the version I uploaded please create a new thread (if not slideshow related) including full Debug Log on xbmclogs.com with the link and crash log and details on how to reproduce.

Martijn.. You're a Lifesaver !! this absolutely fixed my problems .. and believe me .. I was having soooooo many that I was beyond desperate .
Have not tried next aired with this build yet !
Thats the next step with debug on !
