Unable to active PVR service (v12.0 beta 1 git:914e708)
#1
Hi

I have XBMC running in Windows no problems, i also have a Raspberry Pi (512Mb), the install works, however i cant get the PVR service working, it wont let me select it, is there a debug mode i cant enable to solve this?

How i know:
SYSTEM > SYSTEM INFO > PVR SERVICE is grey (cant select it).

What i did (same as Windows)

SYSTEM > SYSTEM SETTINGS > ADD-ONS > ENABLED ADD-ONS > PVR CLIENTS > NEXTPVR PVR CLIENT is enabled and configured
Now this might be as this program isnt working, on Windows if this isnt configured corrctly then the PVR service greys out. However on the NEXT PVR forum, others have had theres workig on Raspberry Pi.

Ive tried both name and IP address for my PVR and it just wont work, any ideas?
Many Thanks
Ashley

A debug log would help a lot.

Interesting, however this isnt even asking the PVR for anything, i can replicate the same result on windows by putting the wrong HOSTNAME for NextPVR in to the settings, its like its not taking the hostname OR IP address and asking the PVR for anything, therefore not allowing me access to the PVR settings.

Granted though it does say theres an "issue" with openELEC and PVR... Sad
Many Thanks

You are almost there Wink Enable debug logging : System -> System -> Debugging -> Enable debug logging

How about this one

http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=15549

Enabled debug, rebooted, went to add-ons, configured the PVR client again (didnt actually do anything, just checked the name), then back to system to see it still wasnt enable to give something in the logs....
Many Thanks
