Layout Request: Update Library
#1
While updating library the progress is shown in a rather large window in the center of the screen.

Since I am able to use xbmc in the meanwhile, this progress window takes much of the view.

Any chance that this could be similar to the Confluence Version, where it is a small window
in the upper right corner of the screen?

Obliged

For those of us on a PC, hitting the back button allows multi-tasking to exit to the home page and choose to play videos etc. The progress window is now relegated to a small notification bar at the top.

the library update progress is, and always has been, shown
in the small notification area at the center-top of the screen.

if you see the full blown progress dialog, then something is broken.

which version of Transparency! are you using?
please include a Debug Log as it may provide some clues as to what goes wrong.

I'm using Transparency! Version 1284 under ATV2 iOS 4.2.2 (2203) with xbmc Frodo Beta 1 (Git:20121125-aae04d99)

debug log can be found here:

The log is clipped at the point right after starting "update library"

sorry, but i can't support transparency versions you get from third party sources.
they are known to cause issues.

you can install the stable version of Transparency! (v5.0.0) from the frodo addon repo,
released a few moments ago, so it may take some time before it pops up in xbmc.

or use the svn version i provide here:

oh my, i wasn't even aware of using a third-party version

deleted it at once. i've been using it since dharma and only can remember that it was quite hard to get (too noob for svn, me).

the frodo addon repo did not even have a skin folder... until now, one did pop up, with your skin in it!

much obliged, man

p.s.: and your version runs so much better, nice!
