Linux Dolby Digital with DVB-T
#1
Hi,

I recently added a DVB-T dual head card (Terractec Cinergy 2400i DT, with a kernel patch) in my HTPC (running geeXboX 3.0), and I found that I can't playback any channel in Dolby Digital.

I checked that XBMC is correctly configured, as videos played for the hard drive work fine. And I also checked that the DVB-T channels I tried do send Dolby Digital stream (it works fine with my old all-in-one DVB-T tuner).

Any idea what could prevent me having Dolby Digital stream with TV?

Thanks,
Frédéric

Could you post your audio configuration in xbmc and your hardware configuration ?
Which addon ?

I'm using tvheadend backend/frontend.

Where can I find the config file you need?

Can you post a debug log (wiki) where you try to play one of these channels? There's no setting for Dolby Digital in tvheadend, it should just work.
