This should already work I believe?

I know its gone from the repo, but I would like to have a look at it.

Movies like "ocean's twelve" it doesn't find "ocean's eleven" gives me the Portuguese title. So THANK YOU for making optional to use the IMDB search and not mandatory. In my opinion the TMDB should be the default search and maybe put a warning in settings that IMDB search is broken for non English users. Thank you for your hard work

They fixed the IMDB search on their end and my whole collection (~2500 movies) is scanned properly as it was before. Unfortunately they don't offer xbmc .nfo export
So is it a question on how the search is actually being used in the first place?
As I said, don't want to cause a fuss, just curious here.

It, like the two external ones you linked, fails to work with AKA titles.
FYI... if your referring to imdbapi.com, you can search by title now.. example: http://www.omdbapi.com/?s=Star%20Wars&r=XML
.... hopefully this will be of some use!
Taking your example, consider, let's say, in Italy "Star Wars" is known as "Guerre stellari" (according to imdb):
http://www.omdbapi.com/?s=Guerre%20stellari&r=XML
no hits
http://imdbapi.org/?title=Guerre%20stellari&type=xml
one hit, but wrong
http://www.imdb.com/xml/find?xml=1&nr=1&...20stellari
20 hits, none right (and this is the internal API.)
http://www.imdb.com/find?q=Guerre%20stel...n_al_tt_mr
ding ding ding! Web search wins.
That's basically what it comes down to.
