I just had the opportunity to test the scan feature, and it works fantastically well. Great job. I have to test further for stability but so far I would say it does almost everything I need.
I do not really get the debate whether it would be better to album artist. I almost only listen to albums so when I scan it, it goes under the right artist. It might not be the case when scanning a playlist, is that the issue ?
Regarding my subscription, I still have to test the FLAC option as I am still using MP3.

Nice
The thing about the right artist is principally problematic on the compilations, XBMC should pick the good one using a algorithm described here (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add...e_Artists) but since we scan tracks instead of albums, it seems that it doesn't work. So we have to find a workaround...(scanning albums when we can and picking up the good one when we can't) but it works well for normal albums tracks in playlist. I think you can try flac for two days if you signup using a facebook account. the addon is now on the official repo (v0.11.0) and we have an article on the qobuz news feed (for those who read french )http://www.qobuz.com/info/MAGAZINE-ACTUA...edia173258 ++

It's great that Qobuz are positive about this. Most xbmc plugins authors have a hard time with zero support from API providers and no interest in the final product.
They really should do an english version of their site - the service rocks, but I think it's probably hard work for anyone that doesn't know a little french. |

lem000, true. Qobuz had welcomed the initiative and that's really pleasant
![]() And I agree too for the english part. At least for the registration process if not for the editorial content. 1.0.0 is on the official repo (public playlists, kind of fix for compilations scans and covers in library)

I have been using this add-on a lot on various Macs and Windows systems and I love it.
I've just run into one problem on my ATV1 running Crystalbuntu from STMLabs. I am forced to stick with Eden until this distro is updated to version 2. Qobuz ran for a long time on this; but now is marked as broken and "dependencies not met" Any idea what those dependencies could be, so I can try to fix it? Thanks in advance. geoff |
