Good evening, fellow users. A couple weeks back I installed version 11.12 of the Eden PVR for Windows 7, only to find the MythTV plugin would not initiate. Checking the log file, I found the above listed error, which seemed odd. However, when I checked my pvr.mythtv folder I was able to confirm that there was no "XBMC_MythTV_win32.pvr" located there. Furthermore, a file search of my entire hard drive revealed this file was not present anywhere. Therefore, I installed the most recent build earlier this evening only to have the exact same problem repeat itself. After much Google searching and head scratching, I cannot find any similar occurrence issue and was wondering if anyone had experienced this problem and been able to arrive at a solution. The entire thing seems weird to me, as all the other PVR addon folders appear to contain the correct *.pvr files necessary for operation. If anything, I was wondering if there might be a download available of just the addon, so I could extract the necessary files and get MythTV up and running.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. You guys do a lot of amazing work (I do have the MediaPortal addon up and running with no issues), and I am a big fan of both the PVR build and XBMC in general.

Neither the addon nor pvr was part of the official Xbmc Eden version. It very much depends from where you downloaded the stuff.

However now that XBMC Frodo is close, I'd suggest to install XBMC Frodo Beta.
Not sure if the windows version comes already with pvr addons pre installed. If not, you can download it here: http://www.dotnetdevelopers.net/XBMC/xbmcpvr.html

completely uninstalled XBMC and removed all directories.

installed latest nightly build from 12/1. installed MYTH PVR client...still no joy in Frodo land

I'll also add that XBMC_mythtv_cymth_win32.pvr is 1,803Kb in size.

Sorry, took me a while to find time for this. The current released version of the mythtv addon is not compatible with windows xp.
The reason is that we were using a function (inet_ntop) that is only available in vista.
The function has been removed in the development version. So if you want you can build the addon from there https://github.com/fetzerch/xbmc-pvr-addons.
