Umlauts problem
#1
Hello

I have just installed Xbmc 11 on my ATV2 and I´m trying to add a AFP source from my iMac.
However, as I try to type in the user/pass I fail. The username I´m using has an Umlaut. Swedish characters with dots over them: å, ä and ö
I cant type them using the remote since there is no åäö on the on-screen keyboard. I tried using Rowmote on my iPhone, but when I type ö nothing comes up.
I have tried changing the localization but to no help.

What should I do? (I´d rather not change the username)

I consider such stuff unsupported for now. But maybe someone else has an other opinion about it.

The controls in the keyboard dialog handle it, but there may not necessarily be ways to do it depending on your remote app. I'm not sure if the official remote for iOS supports this or not, but it seems it could easily enough.

Alternatively, you can edit passwords.xml to assign username/password in there (see userdata).
