I am starting to wonder if the problem that I am having is partially an install one. I have a backend where ARGUS (2.0.1) is installed by no XBMC. On the frontend I have XBMC installed with the ARGUS add-on enabled but I have not done an actual ARGUS 2.0.1 software install on this machine. Does the frontend need to have ARGUS 2.0.1 installed as well?

I switched to NextPVR and things got a lot easier. NextPVR runs on the Server and XBMC is installed with the plugin on the Frontend.
