Getting message on Atv and iPad saying imdb broken, but at bottom said updated. When I go into the Settings for addons it says something about site layout changed. What's up? I seem to remember ths happening every so often on the old Xbox version, then magically it would fix itself and start working even without an xbmc update.

The normal IMDb scraper hasn't been updated yet for the IMDb site changes. If you want to keep using IMDb then you can use the Universal Movie Scraper, who's IMDb portion has been updated.

is it possible to change from imdb to universal scraper without re-indexing the whole collection?
- keep data that was indexed by imdb and just use univerdsal scraper for new additions?
i had to fix many titles manually and i want to avoid doing this all over again

you can change the scraper without rescanning, yes.
