Win Launching XBMC in 2nd Monitor with audio
#1
Before I start messing around with one of my set-up, I was wondering if this was possible.

I want to launch XBMC, so when it starts, windows automatically switches to my 2nd monitor (TV) attached via HDMI, with audio through HDMI, switching off audio to my computer speakers.

Ultimately it will be:

I press the green button on my remote,
Windows shifts from Primary monitor to second monitor (TV)
Computer audio disabled, audio via HDMI to TV enabled
launches XBMC.

Press off button on remote
Shuts down XBMC
Monitor shifts back to primary monitor
audio switches back to computer speakers.

I can sort out the keymaps later.

This is on XBMC Eden.
Is it as simple as changing the video and audio in the XBMC settings?

I have a similar setup with It running on my secondary monitor (HDTV). XBMC will always automatically run on the last monitor you've selected.

The audio is a bit more troublesome though. I always have to manually change the default playback device in windows to switch between the PC speakers,TV speakers and my sound system connected with an optical cable. I have never been able to find a way around that (doesn't mean there's not one, I just don't know what it is).

Edit: Made the move to Frodo this morning and just discovered that It lets you select the default audio device separately from the windows default. That makes me very happy!
