First I want to say thanks to all for the great info and also for making it so easy to spend money

I'm having an issue, or more like an annoyance.

I upgraded my HTPC with a new asrock h77m, I3-2105 and ssd. I did a fresh install of windows on the ssd and holly crap was I happy with the boot time. Windows animation didn't even finish. I did all the updates and couldn't get enough of the how fast it booted up. Then I install my 2TB HDD and I was so bummed out. It takes way longer to boot.

What is going on here? is this normal?

Is your 2Tb on the same 6Gb SATA connection as the SSD? Your SSD should be on the first rgey connector, the 2Tb on the first black connector.

I'm sure I have the SSD on the first SATA and I did connect the HDD on the first black one but I'm going to double check. Thanks for the reply.
