Help: Horrible DVD playback quality
#1
Hi,

I'm running Eden on a Windows 7 x64 AMD E-350 system at 1280x720. When I play a DVD, the video quality is terrible. Horizontal motion on the screen often results in jagged edges for objects, as if something was wrong with the interlacing. Playing the DVD in WMC or PowerDVD works fine.

Is there a setting or add-on or something that can fix this problem?

I've also noticed static in the audio when playing a DVD through XBMC. There's no static when streaming from Amazon on XBMC or watching the DVD with another program.

Any advice?

Thank you,
Bob

Open video settings and enable deinterlacing.

Enabling deinterlacing didn't help. :-(
